Through the Mission Design Lab and the Instrument Design Lab, the IDC offers a broad range of analysis and design services tailored to meet customer needs. While the MDL offers engineering analysis and conceptual design for space missions and space systems/subsystems, the IDL offers engineering analysis and conceptual design of instrument systems and architectures.
The Integrated Design Center utilizes four key elements - People, Process, Tools, and Facility - to provide high-quality designs that meet or exceed customer requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.
